Believe it or not, ‘Missus Toast’ is not my real name. My real name is Lynsey Graham (neé Rigby), and I spend my days corrupting the youth of today as a videogames designer. I’m heading towards 30 years of age with alarming speed, and I hope to gain at least some measure of fitness before then. On the plus side, they say that once you hit 30, it’s all downhill from there. I like downhill…

I had a knee operation last year (2008), so I’m hoping that my knees will be stronger and less of a handicap than they have been.

I am married to the charming Mr Toast, who introduced me to mountain biking.  We tend to go biking most weekends, but we rarely bike together - on the grounds that I can’t go as fast as him, and he can’t go as slow as me!

As mentioned in the very first post, I created this blog to record my progress in mountain biking and personal levels of fitness.  If others should read it, hopefully it will encourage them…or at least amuse them.

I currently ride a small Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Elite, nicknamed ‘Professor Von Stumpersons’.
